Prospective and current college students can receive free, in-person help with their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, at locations across Indianapolis this Sunday, Feb. 25.
College Goal Sunday will run from 2-4 p.m. It is Indiana’s largest FAFSA filing event and is now in its 35th year, according to the website. The free event is even more pertinent this year because of significant delays, glitches and issues with the FAFSA, including that parents without Social Security numbers are completely blocked from accessing the form.
Students who attend College Goal Sunday events and complete an evaluation will also be entered to win one of five $1,000 scholarships statewide, according to the website.

- Social Security or immigrant registration number
- Driver’s license number
- 2022 federal tax return information
