Prospective college students can get help with their Free Application for Federal Student Aid at an upcoming event.

Feb. 23 is College Goal Sunday, the state’s largest financial aid event. From 2-4 p.m., counselors and experts will be at nearly 40 locations across the state to help students complete FAFSA.

Five Indiana students who attend College Goal Sunday will win a $1,000 scholarship. 

Where to attend College Goal Sunday in Indianapolis

  • Arsenal Technical High School computer lab: 1500 E. Michigan St.
  • Beech Grove High School: 5330 Hornet Ave.
  • Center for Leadership Development college prep lab: 2425 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St.
  • George Washington Community High School: 2215 W. Washington St., door No. 1
  • Ivy Tech Community College North Meridian Center: 50 W. Fall Creek Parkway North Drive
  • Lawrence North High School: 7802 Hague Road

What to bring

Students, parents and guardians should create their Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID before the event, as the verification process can take several days. 

To fill out the FAFSA, families and students will need their Social Security or immigrant registration number, 2023 tax return, bank account balances and any records of untaxed income or child support.
