Indianapolis families can take advantage of free lead screening, vaccinations and COVID-19 checks at a free health clinic on July 28 on the city’s east side.
The back-to-school event will also offer free physical exams for children and body mass index screenings for families, as well as blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, HIV and glucose checks.
The Latino Health Organization, Marion County Health Department, Minority Health Coalition, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Indiana’s other managed care entities are teaming up to put on the event. Representatives from each are expected to attend.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St. Attendees should enter through Door 17.
