Families can find free haircuts, car seats, backpacks and school supplies at a Back-to-School Community Resource Day on the east side.

The annual event put on by the Marion County Public Health Department will also offer sports physicals, immunizations and dental and vision screenings.

The resource day runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon July 11 in the health department’s parking lot at 3838 N. Rural St.
