Indy residents can learn about how to promote a fair and inclusive society at an upcoming Unity Summit.
The event, organized by Indianapolis Public Schools, invites educators and students as well as their parents and community members to a day of speakers and workshops.
Keynote speakers include education researcher Richard Milner IV and Paul Gorski, founder of the Equity Literacy Institute.
Workshops will offer advice on how to contribute to an equitable and inclusive community.
The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 15 at Martin University, 2186 N. Sherman Dr. Doors open at 8 a.m.
The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to register online by March 12.
