John Boner Neighborhood Centers and Growing Places Indy are looking for someone to manage their farm.

Growing Places Indy previously managed the site. The organization grew produce, offered group education opportunities and rented garden beds to community members. The nonprofit announced it would be transitioning out of operating its largest farm in a Facebook post Oct. 2.

Proposals are now being accepted from individuals or organizations to manage the farm and programming at the Boner Fitness and Learning Center, 727 N. Oriental St.

The farm is located on the Arsenal Technical High School campus. The areas that will be managed include a greenhouse, 39 raised beds and a compost area.

The selected program provider will also be responsible for community engagement, food distribution and fundraising.

The project will operate under an annual agreement starting Jan. 1, 2025, and will automatically renew each year. Those interested can learn more about proposal criteria and apply online.

The proposal deadline is 5 p.m. Nov. 1. A selection will be made Nov. 15.
