Grab free food and learn about family services this weekend during a resource fair on the southwest side of Indianapolis.

The Southwest Community Resource District Council and George T. Goodwin Community Center will host the event, which will provide information about recovery programs, social services and financial education resources.

There will also be kids’ haircuts and a raffle.

“Bring your friends, your appetite, and your curiosity,” an online event flyer reads. “Let’s make community connections that are as fulfilling as the free food!”

The community resource fair will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the George T. Goodwin Community Center, 3935 W. Mooresville Road.
