Eastsiders can learn more about a proposed data center in Warren Township at a community forum April 27

Georgia-based developer DC Blox wants to build a $2 billion data center campus on the site of a former Ford plant near South Kitley Avenue and the Pennsy Trail. The site is now the Thunderbird Commerce Center, an industrial park. 

City-County Councilor Andy Nielsen will host the forum 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 27 at Downey Avenue Christian Church, 111 S. Downey Ave

Attendees can hear from DC Blox representatives, ask questions and learn about next steps. 

Residents are encouraged to register for the event and submit questions online. Questions should be submitted before April 22. The forum will also be live streamed on Nielsen’s Facebook page.

A public hearing for the data center proposal will be held 1 p.m. May 14 at the City-County Building, 200 E. Washington St
