Students are officially back in class, which means your favorite high school teams are hitting the field for their first practices of the fall season.
On the west side, the Wayne Township school district is making it easy for older adults to support the next generation of athletes and artists with free admission to township school events.
The Wayne Township events pass is available to any Wayne Township resident who is 65 years or older. The pass covers entrance to all Wayne Township school sports events, musical concerts and dramatic performances.
The lifetime pass is good only for events organized by Wayne Township schools, meaning admission will still be required for competitions organized by groups like Bands of America, the Indiana State Music Association and the Indiana High School Athletic Association.
Visit the Wayne Township Education Center at 1220 S. High School Road to pick up your pass. More details are available on the Wayne Township schools website.
