I'm a GenXer who has always had a passion for media. I started my career in TV production in Ohio then transitioned into print journalism at The Indy Star. I also have worked in corporate communications for a regional retailer, as an adjunct college professor in communication and as a contributing writer for Indy Maven.
I enjoy staying active and am an ACE-certified group fitness instructor who teaches classes (primarily Zumba, and basic stretch) at Irsay Family YMCA and other gyms in Indy.
I believe providing access to local news is vital as is sharing stories that are often overlooked and that’s why I am thrilled to be a part of Mirror Indy! I wanted to be part of a newsroom that is committed to those goals.
My email address is diane.moore@mirrorindy.org.
