The most local of the races on Marion County voters’ primary ballots May 5 were for township trustees and small claims court constables. The polls closed at 6 p.m.

Here are the contested primary races.

Center Township

Kenneth Allen, the incumbent, is facing Byron Dawayne Davenport Sr. and Elijah Lee in a Democratic primary for Center Township constable.

Decatur Township

Incumbent Luke Schmitt is facing Dawson Brown in the Republican primary for Decatur Township constable.

Lawrence Township

Incumbent Steve Talley is facing Lisa Chavis and Alison Cole in the Democratic primary for Lawrence Township trustee.

Tracey Cantrell, Erik Davenport Sr. and Erik Forestal are competing in the Democratic primary for Lawrence Township constable.

Pike Township

Incumbent Annette Johnson is facing Melody Barber-Hence and Claudette Peterson in the Democratic primary for Pike Township trustee.

Incumbent Arthur (Art) Rowley is facing Kevin L. Mattox, Marcus Ragland and Paul Woods in the Democratic primary for Pike Township constable.

Warren Township

Incumbent Vernon Brown is facing Jacque Bartlett, Marie Hitze and James Taylor in the Democratic primary for Warren Township trustee.

Incumbent Charles W. Staples is facing Osnel L. Andre Sr. and William Jackson in the Democratic primary for Warren Township constable.

Washington Township

Incumbent Steve Miller is facing Kevin Thomas in the Democratic primary for Washington Township constable.
